Shulaika Beatrix Delsol is an international tax lawyer, legal strategist, and founder of Delsol Corporation NV doing business as Delsol Law & Tax, Paassen Delsol Tax Lawyers and Digital Nomads Tax Advisors. With more than 30 years of professional experience, she advises entrepreneurs, multinational businesses, family offices, private investors, and high-net-worth individuals on complex legal, tax, governance, and wealth preservation matters.
Born in Curaçao, Shulaika obtained her Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree, specializing in Taxation, from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands in 1994.
Her legal career began with the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration in Groningen, where she served as a Tax Inspector. She subsequently joined the Directorate of International Tax Affairs of the Dutch Ministry of Finance in The Hague as a Policy Officer before returning to Curaçao to work with the Directorate of Taxes of the former Netherlands Antilles.
In 1998, Shulaika entered private practice, first as a Tax Lawyer with the Citco Group and later as Senior Tax Manager at Deloitte. During this period, she developed extensive expertise in international taxation, cross-border structuring, trusts, private foundations, fiduciary services, contract drafting, privacy law, governance, and lawful asset protection strategies.
In 2001, she founded Delsol Corporation NV in Curacao, an independent legal and tax advisory practice that has grown into an internationally oriented boutique firm serving clients throughout the Dutch Caribbean and beyond. Since 2006, she has devoted herself full-time to expanding the practice and developing innovative legal and governance solutions for increasingly complex domestic and international matters.
Shulaika's work extends beyond traditional legal practice. She is a researcher, writer, and strategic thinker with a strong interest in the interaction between law, taxation, governance, technology, and long-term wealth preservation. Her approach combines rigorous legal analysis with practical commercial insight, enabling clients to navigate complex regulatory environments while developing sustainable structures for businesses, families, and private wealth.
